Humor Satire in the Funny Papers

Some things are just funny because they're true. That's what makes satire a great way to get a laugh. Using examples of real people and real places put into real situations with exaggerated results is almost always funny. Most of the comic strips you might find in your local News paper's funny pages are great examples of such comedic satire. From Blondie to Garfield, there's a situation in there that may have even happened to you before.

Have you ever wondered what it would be like if a mischievous army private pull pranks on his commanding officer? In real life it may not go over too well, but in Beetle Baily its always something funny to see.

Have you ever wondered what your cat is thinking about you after hearing you bomb a hundred phone calls to find a date? Well, Garfield seems to have a lot to say about such a situation.

Its these hilarious situations that we've found ourselves in before with an extra added spin of fiction to make it even funnier. I'm sure our cats think its funny, too!
