Necessary Ingredients:

Heart - 1 large, adult
Blood - Optional
Nails - 1 incredibly large
Batteries - Optional

Step 1

Shove the nail through the heart and throw it on the platter. Come on, it isn't rocket science.

Step 2 (Optional)

Okay, just doing step one will result in a yummy dinner for two, but there are certain things that you can do to gussy up this already classy and trendy meal.

- Extra Blood -

If the heart you found is too dry you can always scrounge up some extra blood and marinate the heart a little before serving. Usually the heart should have a sufficient amount of blood inside (if not then you need to get a more fresh heart next time), but if not, this step is a necessity.

- Beating Heart vs. Dead Heart -

If your heart is truly fresh (as in was removed from the victim under thirty seconds ago) you do not need to follow this step at all. Otherwise, if your heart is a little old (but with not to much cellular decay) go ahead and give it a shock to get it pumping for a little bit. You can do this by hooking it up to a car battery or ripping the power cord out of a plugged-in appliance and jamming the torn end into the left ventricle.
