Loyally as Syndicate Mascot:
February 18, 2001 to February 27, 2001
On February
25, 2000, the original Reality Syndicate index was uploaded to the domain
with a few articles from the predecessor, the Daily Drivel, transformed
and under its belt. Naturally, February 25 of 2001 would be our
first birthday. A special mascot was needed for the Drivel Days Celebration
that took place, and Darren was the one who answered the call!
 Drivel
Day was one heck of a good time. Tons of new articles flooded the site
and old articles were brought back into the spotlight to be remembered.

little of what it was like. Anyway, Darren was there cleaning up confetti
every night, working super hard to keep the place tidy during our week
long bash. Sure, he kept to himself and never said much (can't say much
without a mouth in the first place) but he did his duty well.
Finally,
we have been informed that Darren has requested time off from his job
working as a Fact Checker for the Weehauken Post newspaper in New Jersey
for every final week of February for the rest of his life. He plans
to be at every Drivel Days, rain or shine. What a happy thought!
