Football freaks, hockey nuts, but apparently baseball is "too slow"

Alberto the Albino Valentine Mouse

Served Loyally as Syndicate Mascot:
February 15, 2001 to February 26, 2001

Every mid February couples everywhere tear their hair out looking for the perfect gift while singles stock up on tissues for a night of lonely tears. Yes, Valentine's Day is indeed a horrifying and exhausting holiday. Who better to help the Syndicate celebrate than a near blind, pasty-white mouse? I can't answer that question, and I don't expect anyone to do so.

Alberto was found digging through our garbage cans out back when we found him. He had misplaced his favorite pencil set and was looking for a new one, or so he said. The little guy was just too cute clutching that little heart in his hands. The heart, actually, was a reject from a little homemade Valentine's card making session the night before. What fun that was!

We placed Alberto neatly in a cage crafted from macaroni, Elmer's Glue, and glitter. We took as many pictures as we could of the little rodent and deemed him our new mascot, after our previous mascot Paul the Paranoid Snowman had completely melted (leaving quite a mess in the employee lounge, I might add). The Syndicate was almost ready to celebrate its first birthday, and Alberto was like a little gift from nowhere.

Now, aside from all that cute-ness crap, Alberto was one mean little mouse. Sure the guy was cute on the outside, but he loved to point out peoples' flaws. The rodent would never shut up about how much he thought the site needed a new staff.

Needless to say, he only stayed around a for eleven days. No chance he'll be featured here again.
