Football freaks, hockey nuts, but apparently baseball is "too slow"

Paul the Paranoid Snowman

Served Loyally as Syndicate Mascot:
January 15, 2001 to February 14, 2001

It was too cold, and he was a penguin. Yeesh.Winter can get pretty cold, especially in the Colorado Rockies where the Syndicate lives. In mid January, our previous mascot, a penguin, thought it was too cold. Yes, a penguin thought it was too freakin' cold! That left the site mascotless until we found that a society of snowmen was emerging from the subzero climate.

Paul came to us looking for work. His only experience included standing, looking at things, and some melting. We hired him on a trial basis, but he turned out to be a hit! His paranoid delusions of the sun being "out to get him" were hilarious. He always went on about how he wouldn't survive past March, and that Springtime was his sworn enemy. The laughs never stopped! Every day with the checking of thermometers and charting glacial movements in hopes of a coming Ice Age, it was. The guy was a riot!

Then he melted. Guess he was right after all.
