There is a blog at a website called itelleth.blogspot.com. This particular blog is filled with humor and satire galore. It spins the news into a hilarious blog on just about anything. They take breaking news stories like wars and issues in the Middle East and put some silly story into it.
For example there is a story on there titled "Yoga Has Helped Us: Hamas". Another is "British Assault on Iraqi Headquarters" with a picture of a man eating an enormous bagel bigger than his head. It is just plain humorous and funny. It also is a good way to pass the time by reading these silly entertaining stories. You can maybe even find out something new that you didn't know about the current events going on right now in the world.

A six-part IFC Original short-based comedy series called "Portlandia" features Fred Armisen of SNL fame and indie-rocker Carrie Brownstein in a hilarious humor satire of all things Portland, Oregon. The premise of the show is that Portland is just plain weird, and that for folks in Oregon being weird comes easily.
The series is packed with hilarious characters and skits, where both Brownstein and Armisen play the central roles in each skit but manage to make each unique. The show has a similar feeling to "The Office", but with more naturalistic acting and everything seeming normal at first, but then quickly spiral into the absurd. One example from the show is a couple that is insistently organic. They interrogate their waitress, look up the file of their chicken, trace it to the organic farm outside the city, and end up jointing a cult there for five years.

Chris Morris, the British master of dark satire is making his debut in North America with 'Four Lions', a dark comedy about Muslim terrorists. Morris has long been hailed as the dark lord British satire, generating extreme mixed reactions for his dark satire. He shot to fame in early 90s with his radio news satire 'On the Hour', later, adapted for TV as 'The Day Today'. He also created the solo news satire 'Brass Eye', mocking media sensationalism.
Although he has a massive cult audience, he was never officially released in the US, until this week with 'Four Lions', an unlikely political satire about 5 suicide bombers. The raging satire was a hit at last years Sundance, as it turns a topic of intense tragedy into a comedy. Critics claim Four Lions is possible one of the most enlightened film on the subject, humanizing terrorists without condoning their actions or insulting the audience.
"Four Lions puts the 'HA' in Jihad," A critic explains.
