The
world today is full of controversial political issues, fluctuating markets,
questionable ethics, and amazing technology. Here at the syndicate we
have employed our connections to fetch an interview with one of the greatest
minds on the world scene right now, Jim the Teddy Bear.
Chris Clark and Jim the Teddy Bear
| CHRIS |
 |
Jim, I'm glad
you agreed to do this interview.
|
| JIM |
I just sit around
all day in my owner's room. It's not like I had a busy schedule.
|
| CHRIS |
Well, let's begin.
With a new president in the white house now, some economists say
our nation's economy is in for decline. What are your thoughts on
this?
|
| JIM |
Um, I don't have
any really. I'm just a teddy bear. I have little, if nothing, to do
with the economy.
|
| CHRIS |
I see. Fascinating.
So you really believe that Health Care companies will maintain any
economic drop from being too devastating as a result of the baby boomer
generation becoming older?
|
| JIM |
What? I just told
you I had no thoughts on the matter.
|
| CHRIS |
Please, we'll
discuss Health Care reform another time. We really must be moving
on to our next discussion point.
|
| JIM |
Uhh... Okay.
|
| CHRIS |
Genetic research
is becoming more keen every day. What moral implications with genetic
intervention do you think may pose a threat to future research?
|
| JIM |
I don't know.
Maybe if you asked me something more along the lines of what it's
like being a teddy bear, I could give you better answers.
|
| CHRIS |
That's quite a
theological standpoint! I had no idea you were such a spiritual bear.
While we're on this subject, do you think the upward spiral of science
and technology is having an impact on the spirituality of the people?
|
| JIM |
Where do you get
these questions?
|
| CHRIS |
Look, if you don't
have any thoughts just say so. You don't have to insult me.
|
| JIM |
Wait, how did
I insult you?
|
| CHRIS |
Apology accepted.
Now for our final question, what is your stance in the issue of financial
aid for third world countries versus financial aid for our own poverty
stricken portion of society and why?
|
| JIM |
Okay, I am convinced
you are not listening to me now.
|
| CHRIS |
Could you elaborate
on that point?
|
| JIM |
I don't think
so.
|
| CHRIS |
I'm sorry, those
are some pretty big words. Could you bring down your vocabulary a
shade?
|
| JIM |
I think I've had
enough. Would you please leave me alone?
|
| CHRIS |
Ah, I understand.
I must say, you've certainly change my stance on the matter!
|
| JIM |
How did I ever
agree to this interview?
|
| CHRIS |
Well thank you
Jim for your insight. I wish you good luck with your future and hope
to talk to you again soon.
|
| JIM |
Not bloody likely.
